ANOTHER monstrous pumpkin won the heaviest pumpkin competition at the Poundstock Craft Fair and Pumpkin Festival.
Peter Roberts from Morwenstow arrived with one weighing 359 lbs! Most of us would be happy with one of 50 lbs.
In the other competitions Pat Moore won the senior best decorated pumpkin; Victoria Clarke-Feltham the junior best decorated; Robert Clarke-Feltham the junior best carved and Tim Dingle the best senior carved pumpkin.
These were judged by local land-owner, Pamela Eidelson-Smith.
The craft fair attracted a record attendance of both locals and holiday makers. A rich variety of local crafts and foods, including some new ones, proved very popular.
The ladies dealing with the refreshments were exceptionally busy; especially popular was the apple and pumpkin soup!
