WHEN David Harland ridiculed my letter showing how the banks control Parliament and create money out of thin air, I didn't have the following information to hand. Quote from the Bank of England first quarterly report of 2014: "In modern banking practices the creation of money is not how it is perceived in existing text books or how it is currently taught in universities" Perhaps David was taught in such a university and can be excused for misinforming you. The austerity caused by the bankers who control Parliament could be stopped overnight if we resurrected the Bradbury pound or do what Iceland has now done and took back the money supply from the bankers. It's up to you people to force the issue because the politicians cannot change things because the bankers have the control of the politicians due to the previous and continuing Parliamentary scandals. – John Timbrell, Drybrook.
