MEBYON Kernow has selected its prospective candidate to contest the North Cornwall seat at the General Election in May.

He is Orlando Kimber, who has worked in energy, broadcasting and telecoms in Europe, the US and the Middle East for the past 25 years. He returned to Cornwall in 2010 and is a trustee for the CPRE Cornwall.

He is involved with Cornwall Community Foundation, which raises funds and distributes them to those in need, and the regional director for British Influence, a group dedicated to the UK leading reform of the EU. He lives in North Cornwall.
