Milk Link has confirmed that it will be maintaining its member milk price for this month.

Commenting on the decision, Will Sanderson, Corporate Affairs Director said: "As a farmer owned co-operative, our focus is on ensuring that we maximize the returns we are able to generate for our members on a sustainable basis.

"The current dairy market continues to be highly pressurized and volatile. Milk Link is not immune from this but we will continue to strive to limit its impact on our members. In particular, we will seek to minimize the need for any future price cut both in terms of the amount and timing.

"With this in mind, we can confirm that we will not be altering our milk price for April."
