AWARD winning micro brewery, Art Brew, run by husband and wife team John and Becky Whinnerah, has recently thrown open its doors to visitors.
After relocating from North Chideock, Dorset, to Sutcombe, near Holsworthy, in 2015, the brewery and tasting room are now open to the public on Friday evenings and Saturdays from noon. The brewery also runs brewery tours for small groups, which have to be pre booked.
Established in 2008, Art Brew specialises in contemporary beers, stacked with hops and packed with flavour. The tiny brewery has scooped major awards, including a national prize for its IPA.
In addition to its weekly openings, on the evening of December 17, there will be a Christmas event with the Sutcombe Singers doing a carol sing-a-long; a Christmas quiz to raise money for the Sutcombe Community Playing Fields; a free film for children on the brewery’s big screen; and, not to forget, plenty of mince pies and fantastic beers!
