Launceston pub, the Bell Inn, hosted a medieval banquet on Friday, March 26, to raise money for the charity, Help for Heroes. Those in attendance enjoyed a fantastic three course themed meal followed by activities including apple bobbing, hitting the pinata and drinking yards of ale. Landlord, Morris Davey, said: "We were very happy to accommodate everyone for what was a wonderful evening. It was a real success." Contributions were also made at the bar after the meal and thanks go to everyone who donated. The money will be added to a previous £200 raised from a darts evening held at the pub, and a cheque will be presented to the charity soon.
