THE second store in two weeks to open in Holsworthy held its ribbon cutting ceremony on Tuesday, April 11.

Sugar n’ Ice, owned by Odette Bate, was opened by granddaughter Libby Goodall with an official ribbon cutting.

The mayor went along on the day to welcome the new store to the town. He said: “I am proud to see a second store in two weeks open in Holsworthy.

“People keep saying that Holsworthy is dying; well actually no, it is not dying, it is thriving, and it is great to be welcoming these new businesses to the town!”
