MEMBERS of Granville Chapter No3405, which meets in Bude, together with their friends and families, gathered at the Masonic Hall on Friday, October 26, for an Italian themed social evening.
The refectory, which was renamed Mario’s Bistro for the evening, was decorated with flags and bunting. A selection of popular Italian music was played and a splendid three course meal was enjoyed by those attending.
The event was to celebrate the end of another busy and successful Masonic year for the Chapter and to look forward to a new team taking up their various offices at the end of November.
Chapter member Mike Johns thanked the organiser Keith Taylor, and all those who assisted him, for putting on a very enjoyable evening.
A raffle raised £165 for The Chestnut Appeal, which raises funds for the purchase of the latest equipment for the early detection and treatment of prostate cancer.
This was the fifth bistro evening held by Granville Chapter and it has now become a permanent fixture in their social calendar.
