THE Camelford Committee of Cancer Research UK handed over more than £15,000 at its 37th annual meeting from proceeds raised throughout the year.

In opening the meeting, chair Pam Boundy welcomed Sophie O'Connor, the area fundraising manager. She commented on the very successful year, both financially and socially, the committee had enjoyed and thanked members for all their hard work and commitment during the year.
