Annika Penner and Artem Khamzin were recently married in Langley, B.C., Canada.
The bride is the daughter of Julie and Herbert Penner, while the groom is the son of Irina Khamzina and Patrick Maguier.
The bride wore a local, designer-made, Grecian-style wedding dress. She carried a bouquet of red and yellow tulips. The bridegroom wore a grey suit and a yellow daffodil buttonhole.
Annika is the only grand-daughter of Molly Davids and the late Dirk Davids, of Blue-Park, Hundleton, Pembroke.
Assisting the bride and groom were Kelsey and Michelle Witowich (friends of the bride) and Damir Khamzin (brother of the bridegroom).
The civil service was conducted by Marianne Hewitt, marriage officiant.
Following the ceremony at Domaine de Chaberton Winery in Langley, B.C., the couple hosted a five-course meal at the in-house, French-style restaurant for their guests.
The wedding cake was custom-made by Molly Davids (grandmother). It had a decorative spray of tulips to match the bride's bouquet.
The newly-married couple spent the weekend following the ceremony in historic Fort Langley, B.C., Canada.
Their honeymoon during the Easter holidays was spent in Portugal.
Annika and Artem have made their home in Vancouver, B.C., Canada.
