A DONATION of £200 was made by Launceston Community Market to 14-year-old Launceston girl Merryn Lopez.
Merryn is an aspiring artist, and wants to become a vet in the future, but has been diagnosed with the progressive eye disease Keratoconus.
Merryn’s family said her eyesight is getting worse each day and eventually she will be blind.
They are raising money for a procedure, which strengthens the corneas, and can cost up to £3,000 per eye.
The latest donation was given last Friday, September 16.
