A CHEQUE for £500 has been presented to Cornwall Air Ambulance by the Launceston Community Market.
The community market gives all its profits to local charities and recently was delighted to welcome Paul Ford, representing Cornwall Air Ambulance, who came to receive a cheque raised by donations from customers and stallholders.
The Cair ambulance is supported entirely by donations and provides a life-saving service.
The community market is proud to support the air ambulance and this donation takes its total to more than £8,000 donated to local organisations.
The market is always on the lookout for local charities to support, so, if you have a suggestion, drop in to Launceston Methodist Central any Friday between 9.30am and 1pm and tell any of the stallholders.
The market offers a wide range of local produce and crafts.
