TRADING will begin at one of the South West's largest livestock markets — Holsworthy Agribusiness Centre — at the beginning of September. Almost a decade after discussions for a new market began, final touches are being made to the multi-million pound centre on the outskirts of town before manager Kivells holds its first day of business on Wednesday, September 3. Torridge District Council has invested around £6-million into the centre — one of the council's largest projects to date. Kivells, Devon County Council and the European Regional Growth Fund have also invested in the centre, which will boast modern facilities and state of the art equipment.
