A BUDE lady has raised £470 for a local cause after celebrating a milestone birthday.

Margaret Ball celebrated her 100th birthday on November 12 with friends and family at the Parkhouse Centre in Bude. She received a bouquet of flowers from mayor Bob Willingham, a birthday card signed by the Queen and even a mention on Graham Norton’s Saturday radio show.

During the celebrations, Margaret asked for donations for the Cornwall Air Ambulance. Her granddaughter Charlotte Littlejohns told the Post that Margaret has raised a fantastic £470 for the charity. Well done, Margaret!
