MARGARET Garvin, who was reported by police earlier today as going missing from the Liskeard/Callington area, has now been found safe and well.

Margaret, who suffers from Alzheimer’s, went missing at around midday from the village of Quethiock, near St Ive, at around 11.30am today (7 April) after going for a walk.

However, her daughter Hannah Garvin has this evening posted a relieved Facebook message as follows: “Thank you to everyone for sharing the post and to the Devon and Cornwall Police East Cornwall Search & Rescue Team and all others for their efforts in looking for Mum. She is on her way home to us now.So grateful to the social media community for supporting and sharing so quickly - Thank you doesn’t quite cut it, but Thank you, from me and all our family for your help xx”

So that is a very happy outcome.
