POLICE are on the hunt for a man in connection with the attempted theft of an iPhone from a teenage girl in Milford.

She was approached in Rake Lane by a man who then tried to steal her phone at around 3.35pm on April 30.

He is described as white, aged in his late 20s to early 30s and of a medium, muscular build.

He has short blond hair, cut in a straight square fashion, blue eyes and a square chin. His skin is described as "rough looking" and he was clean shaven.

The man wore a blue t-shirt with a YSL logo and a black tattoo was visible on his right arm. He spoke with a Surrey accent.

Pc Matt Lloyd said: "If anyone recognises the man pictured, or the man sees or hears this appeal himself, I would urge them to get in touch with officers.
