Witnesses are being sought to a collision near Delabole, which left a man seriously injured.

Officers, along with the ambulance and fire services, were called at around 6pm on Friday, September 1, following the collision involving a Skoda car and VW Transporter on the B3314, east of Delabole, Cornwall.

A Devon and Cornwall Police spokesperson confirmed: "As a result of the collision, the passenger of the Skoda, a man in his 20s from London, sustained what were described as potentially life-threatening injuries. He was airlifted to hospital.

"The female driver of the Skoda and the occupants of the VW sustained minor injuries and were taken to hospital for treatment.

"Local officers, as well as officers from the Alliance Roads Policing Team attended the location and completed an examination of the scene."
