LAUNCESTON Rotary president Kim Kinvig travelled to Birmingham recently to be presented with a cup recognising the club's commitment to vocational service. The cup was presented by the top Rotarian in the UK, National President of Rotary International in Great Britain and Ireland (RIBI) Nan McCreadie. The RIBI Len Smith Cup for vocational service is presented annually to a club whose vocational activity has encouraged and fostered vocational ideals. Spokesperson Peter Casey said: "Launceston Rotary Club is delighted to have won this national cup for its role in creating and supporting the district's Overseas Project Team over the past eleven years."
