Results of Upper Tamar Lake Sailing Club races on Sunday May 3.
a.m. Tamar 3: The lake appeared remarkably different this week compared to the preceding weeks of the season. The wind was howling out of the north, straight down the length of the lake.

p.m. Pursuit 2: During this race Simon Veal managed to wrap his mainsheet around his transom during a gybe, causing him no end of problems, which allowed David Higgs to race past him. Simon didn't have much joy after he recovered as he sailed the wrong side of a mark and had to return to round it correctly giving Emily her chance to beat her dad!
Adeney Pooler had even less luck for the afternoon than he did in the morning and had to retire with a snapped rudder downhaul before his race had even started.
