WITH the ground works complete, the main body of Holsworthy's Agri-business Centre market is now being installed.

The multi-million pound project, which will boast one of the largest livestock markets in the South West, is becoming more visual, with the first steel frames in place.

Peter Quincey, senior regeneration project manager, said: "The first part of the structure to be completed will be the dairy auction ring, but progress will be significant over the coming weeks.

"We've had a few days of autumnal weather which has seen some amazing down-pours. This has tested the capacity of the new surface water collection ponds, which appear to have held up well. Fortunately most of the weather sensitive elements for the project have been completed, meaning work can progress on site, unhindered for the time being."
