Pembrokeshire Lottery held it's Summer Superdraw last Wednesday and the lucky player who scooped the £8,000 prize was Linda Favorido from Tenby.
Linda (seen right) works as a driver for Silcox Coaches and plays through their payroll deduction scheme.
Pembrokeshire Lottery manager Abigail Owens (seen left) said: "We are very grateful to Silcox and all the other local businesses who offer payroll deduction schemes to their employees for us."
The draw was broadcast live on 102.5 Radio Pembrokeshire and presenter Jay Curtis called Linda on air to break the good news. However, it was only when Pembrokeshire Lottery staff contacted her afterwards that Linda realised it wasn't the usual weekly prize of £2,000 she had won, but a Superdraw amount of £8,000!
Linda said "I've played the Pembrokeshire Lottery for a few years now and have always thought it was a good thing that the money raised stays in Pembrokeshire and helps so many people."
And the answer to the usual question "What will you do with the money?"
Linda's decided not only to treat herself to a Jeep, but is also planning to buy a new pony for her niece!
The usual weekly £2,000 prizes will continue until the £8,000 Autumn Superdraw on Wednesday, September 9. To join up to play ring Pembrokeshire Lottery on 01646 690800.
