THERE was a lot to see at the ‘Annual Bradworthy Parish Open Event’ held in Bradworthy Memorial Hall recently.

The event gives those living in and around the Bradworthy area a chance to come along and see the community stalls run by different organisations.

The next event being held by the Bradworthy Arts Festival Photography Open will be full of ‘Energy’ as they search for talented photographers who submit their work.

The open, supported by Bradworthy Parish Council, is aimed at enthusiastic photographers and judges are looking to award the most outstanding images under the category ‘Energy’.

There is three age categories to the competition: under 12s, 12-18 and 18 up-wards.

Those photographs deemed ‘outstanding’ in each category will be printed and framed and will then form an exhibition at the next Bradworthy Arts Festival.

The next Bradworthy Arts Festival will be held on April 29, 30 and May 1, 2017 — all submissions of photographs will be accepted between May 1, 2016 and December 31, 2016. To register or login to submit photographs visit www.bradworthyartsfestival.co.uk/photos
