With six races on offer and a start time of 12 noon, entrance is cash only at this course. This course offers a fabulous outlook, with the course set into some stunning parkland, giving a fabulous late picnic outing for all the family to enjoy.
Trainers and jockeys are doing a rain dance leading up to the day for ensuring ideal ground conditions.
Local trainer Ed Walker will no doubt have a few lovely young maiden horses starting their careers in the maiden races, having a total of 12 to 14 horses in training this season including new recruits Hilly Billy Filly, So They Say and Caught in Flight.
Champion jockey Will Biddick rides many of the Walker string along with promising young female jockey Chloe Emsley. Chloe could come up against Jo Supple, who will no doubt be keen to start her season off well, along with Charlotte Summserby, who rides for her father, champion local trainer Dean Summersby, with ladies snapping at their heels Ella Orttewell and Natalie Parker to name a few.
The gentleman jockeys include Darren Edwards, who will now be based within the area, and is sure to secure a number of rides, along with Tom Chanin, Conor Houlihan and another promising young male jockey Fionn Summers. There are more than 20 meetings scheduled to take place throughout the area this season weather permitting, with the first Wadebridge meeting to take place on Sunday, December 5, when the Cornwall club host their meeting, this track offers a good viewing aspect close to the action, and a huge covered warm barn containing all catering, bar and bookie facilities.
Point to point fixtures are an exciting day out for all the family, forthcoming fixtures will be on Sunday, November 7, at Bradbury Rings starting at 12 noon, and Sunday, November 14 ,at Dunsmore at 12 noon.
