PETER Pan and his lost boys will be swinging in to Boscastle Village Hall from Wednesday, January 25 to Saturday, January 28.

It’s that time of year again and rehearsals for this year’s pantomime in Boscastle are in full swing.

Peter Pan, the pirates, Indians and the lost boys will make an unexpected trip to Boscastle. Find out how big Peter Pan, played by Jo Kent, and Tinkerbell, Keely Christie, managed to fly; what happens when the Crocodile, Bob Harver, and Captain Hook, Emma Goreham, meet and exactly when is Captain Hook’s birthday?

The cast will include, in order of appearance: Hook — Emma Goreham; Peter Pan — Jo Kent; Tiger Lilly — Mike Parsons; Smee — Jeff Mettters; Starkey — Don Lyle; Mr Darling — Don Lyle; John — Star Isabella Trick; Michael — Betty Sellars Pagge; Mrs Darling — Dawn Garrod; Nana — Laurence Eagle; Wendy — Charlotte Eagle; Tinkerbell — Keely Christie; Nibs — Zara Templer; Tootles — Sorcha Mead; Slightly — Annabell Potter; Twins — Olivia Pope/Lamorna Gee; Myrtle — Sophie Edwards; Crocodile — Bob Harver; Indians — Gracie Sellars, Alfie Costello, Liam Templer, Ruby Keate and Emma Brocklehurst.

Behind the Scenes will be: directors, Laurence Eagle and Jo Kent; musical direction, Jo Kent; dance co-ordinator, Morwenna Gee; lighting / sound, Tom Trick; costumes, Sue Digby; set design and painting, John Blunt; prompt, Sue Digby; props, Pam Clarke; stage manager, Julian Trick.

The pantomime will be performed on January 25, 26, 27 and 28. Doors will open at 7pm, with a matinee performance on January 28, with doors opening at 2.30pm.

Tickets are available from the Spar and Visitor Centre and Napoleon Pub in Boscastle and Cornish Craftiness in Tintagel.

A spokesman said: “Round off any Christmas and New Year celebrations with a trip to Boscastle’s pantomime and enjoy a time of song dance and laughter at Boscastle Village Hall.”
