ST Kew resident, Molly Girvan, carried out the honours of opening the recent St Kew church fete.

After declaring the fete open, Mrs Girvan was presented with a contribution award for her services to the church and parish over many years.

The fete was a great success, with various stalls and games, refreshments, music from St Minver Silver Band and a Punch and Judy show to keep the youngsters entertained.
