HOLSWORTHY & District Lions presented a cheque for £100 worth of B&Q voucher to the Pathfields Day Centre in Bude on Thursday, September 15.
Pathfields gives help to adults with learning disabilities and their families, and they aim to give individuals the opportunity to promote their citizenship, in their own style, within the community.
The day centre has been offering help and support to adults with learning disabilities for 28 years, and the money will be used to help maintain the summerhouse in the garden at the centre.
Lions’ president David Smith presented the voucher to the centre’s team leader Sarah Coleman and to one of users of the centre, Billy Luxton.
