MEMBERS of Holsworthy & District Lions Club were delighted to attend the Bude-Stratton Heritage Festival, where they raised more than £200 for the local community.

A spokesperson said: “We were very pleased to be asked to provide a barbecue for the third year at Bude-Stratton Heritage Festival, on Sunday, July 25,raising over £200 for the local community of Bude and Stratton. It was a great success with beautiful weather.

Thank you to the Lions who attended and the local support from the community.“We are looking forward to hopefully being able to support this event again next year.”
