Parents in Tenby picked up on some first aid tips for babies at their local library recently.

As well as offering users a range of books on health care and parenting, Tenby library organised a special workshop on first aid for babies and toddlers over the Easter holidays.

The session, which offered advice on CPR and what to do in emergencies, was given by Stephanie Amos and Tracy Jones from Tenby Leisure Centre.

Afterwards, one mum said: "It was an excellent event. I learnt some skills, which hopefully I will never need but I feel a lot better for having them."

The Easter workshop was the first time the first aid event has been hosted by the library but such was the interest that plans are being made to host another one.

Anyone interested in attending is asked to contact Cathy at the library on (01834) 843934.
