A MAJOR bakery firm has taken new premises at Launceston's Penny­gillam Industrial Estate.

Delice de France a leading supplier of part and full-baked frozed bakery producsts, has leased a unit at Pennygillam, says Alder King, property consultants.

Alder King has let Unit 27e to Delice de France, on a new six-year lease.

The unit is a brand new, high specification, industrial warehouse, within a terrace of five units.

Extending to 6,535 sq ft, it was recently built during the development of seven new industrial units at Pennygillam.

Delice de France plan to use the warehouse to store and distribute their products across Cornwall.

Tim Smart, the head of agency, Cornwall at Alder King commented: "Unit 27e offers very high quality industrial accommodation. Because it was recently built, its design is to a very high specification, it is also energy efficient and has even been granted a 'Very Good' BREEAM Environmental Assessment Award. As well as an external service yard, the property has a generous allowance of 12 allocated car parking spaces."

Alder King acted for the landlord, a private individual. The tenant, Delice de France was represented by Gerald Eve.
