A LAUNCESTON Police officer has been presented with an award in recognition of her work following a serious assault in Bude.
PC Laura Tasker, who was previously stationed at Bude Police Station and is now at Launceston, was presented with her certificate at a reward and recognition award ceremony at Bodmin Policing Hub on October 7.
The awards were presented by Chief Superintendent Chris Boarland.
At 1.05am on Sunday, April 10, a report was received of a serious assault at a licensed premises in Bude. The victim had been glassed to the neck, sustaining a wound that had narrowly missed an artery.
