A COUPLE of Launceston volunteer fundraisers organised Launcycle2011 with the help from other members of the community and have successfully raised over £1,000 for charity.
Half of the total, £1,400, will be donated to Cancer Research UK and the other half to the League of Friends Launceston Hospital and Community.
Nigel and Lisa Drew, of Launceston Cycles arranged for 80 riders, the youngest being just six-years-old, to take part in a gentle seven mile, or a more gruelling 25 mile route, around the beautiful Launceston countryside.
