HERE'S a festive message from Jeremy Loft, of Launceston Chamber of Commerce: "I hope everyone is enjoying the Christmas Lights this year!

"It is our best display ever in Launceston and will be a wonderful setting again for this year's late night shopping event.

"I start the planning in May and decide what new lights can be afforded and where we can place new ones.

"The Christmas tree is donated by South West Lakes Trust and usually picked in June by myself and Wayne Gostling, who works at Glendale. Quite a difficult job I can assure you!"
