THE chance to apply for a grant from Launceston Town Council closes tomorrow (Friday, September 30).

Last year, Launceston Town Council granted over £17,000.

To be eligible, groups have to be of benefit to the community of Launceston in some way.

However a group doesn’t have to be a registered charity and if they’re in their first year they need not provide accounts, just a bank statement in the name of the organisation.

An application form can be downloaded from the town council website at www.launceston-tc.gov.uk/Grants-Awards- amp3b-Honours.aspx or from the town council offices.
