Broad Street and Southgate Street in Launceston, have been approved for closure by Cornwall Council on Monday, June 5. The closure will take place between 7pm and 7am to allow South West Water to carry out the fitting of a ‘measurement device’.

The road will remain open to any police, fire brigade, ambulance or coastguard vehicle, cyclists, or any personnel on official duty, or any vehicle or person authorised by and with the permission of Cornwall Council.

During the closure a diversion will be in place, which will see drivers taken along Exeter Street, onto the A388 and around to Western Road on the other side of the town.
