Launceston Stamp Club held their Annual Stamp and Postcard Fair in the Central Methodist Hall on Saturday, February 11. With seven dealers in attendance bringing plenty of stamps, postal history, First Day Covers, booklets, albums, postcards and all sorts of things connected to collecting on sale, the visitors coming from St. Austell, Redruth, Newquay, Truro, Saltash, Holsworthy and Bude plus the Launceston area, a good chance to find something of interest to fill that gap was almost certain.
They were also able to supply refreshments, pasty and sausage rolls with a variety of lovely ‘Naughty but Nice’ sponges with tea and coffee when needed served from the kitchen. There were also a good number of prizes for the draw which helped with the club funds.
