STUDENTS at Launceston College, part of Athena Learning Trust, have been all smiles as they collected their A Level results this morning (Thursday 14th August).
With many students going on to top universities and competitive apprenticeships, Launceston Sixth is proud of its high expectations and strong outcomes. Sixth formers benefit from dedicated study spaces, supportive staff and a curriculum designed to foster independence and success beyond school.

Among some of the college’s top achievers were Charlotte Lancaster, who achieved: Biology A*, Chemistry A*, French A*, Maths A*, and will now be attending Leeds University to study BioChemistry.
Seth Taopo also achieved impressive results, receiving Biology A*, Chemistry A, Psychology, A, allowing him to now move onto Brighton University, to study medicine.
Other stand out results included:

- Megan Hensby, Biology, A*, Chemistry A, Psychology A*. Destination, Plymouth University, Psychology with Human Biology.
- Isabella Goodman, Biology A, Geography A, Maths A. Destination, Hartpury University, Agriculture.
- Finlay Worth, EPQ B, Further Maths A, Maths A*, Physics A. Destination, Exeter University, Mechanical Engineering.
- Reuben Wendon, EPQ A, History A, Maths A, Physics A. Destination, Bristol University, Physics and Philosophy .
