A LAUNCESTON boy is planning to take part in a 100 mile expedition as part of the UK Scout Movement.
Nathaniel Parsons has recently returned from the 22nd World Scout Jamboree Sweden. He raised a grand amount of £2,000 to take part in this challenge and is already fundraising for his next expedition.
In total he spent 19 days on the Jamboree and during those 19 days the Scouts representing Cornwall attended Copenhagen for a UK Pre-jamboree Party where they listened to live performances from Kings of Leon and Alphabeat and a tribute band called Kaiser Money Killers.
"It was a fantastic experience and the unit wore their Cornish Kilt putting the Scottish Scouts to shame," commented Carole Parsons.
