IN THIS week's edition of the 'Post', Geoff Provis details some of the history of Launceston Priory — an important landmark in the town for many.

'I CAME to live in Launceston in 1984, and it represented quite a change for me, having lived by the sea for most of my life, being from a Port Isaac fishing family. As I am very interested in Port Isaac history, I felt initially that Launceston's history would be rather boring. However, I was wrong.'
