An exhibition about plant hunters in the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries has opened in the newly refurbished Exhibition Room in Lawrence House Museum, Launceston. It is particularly concerned with the explorations directed by the Veitch family of Exeter and has been designed and put together by Exeter's Royal Albert Museum. This exhibition will continue throughout May and will be replaced from the beginning of June by a display of the work of Launceston architect Otho B Peter, based around 31 very fine watercolours which he painted in 1905 depicting the bridges in the area.
