LAUNCESTON College’s Josh Hendrie won the prestigious achievement award at Duchy College this year for his hard work in his studies.
He has attended Duchy for two years to achieve a vocational examination award.
Students from the college are lucky enough to be offered a place at Duchy to study animal care or agriculture in their year nine options.
The prestigious award was given to him at the award ceremony with the other students from the college.
There was standing room only with lots of parents attending. MP George Eustice was the guest of honour.
A Launceston College spokesperson said: “Josh has shown very good commitment to his studies and has gained exemplary results for his work.
“In the future Josh wants to expand his horizons by developing the skills he has learnt at Duchy.”
