IT is three years since Mrs Janet Drew retired from Marhamchurch Primary School and, at last, County and the Governors have managed to find her replacement.

Mrs Jayne Biddle, formerly head of St Catherine's School, Launceston, has settled in well to her new and extensive role at the school and is tackling all areas of school life with tremendous enthusiasm.

Improvements have already been made to their library and reading scheme, storage, cookery and music equipment. Small but important steps are being taken every day.
