A FIANCEE who lost her husband-to-be to meningitis weeks before their wedding will do her first skydive to fight the deadly disease.
Shane White, 38, and Kerran Parish, formerly of Launceston, were two weeks from marrying and had only lived in their new home ten days when he died of meningitis last March.
Kerran, 38, who lives in the Lostwithiel home they bought, said: "We spent as much time together as we could — he made me the happiest I could ever be. The biggest honour for me was that Shane chose me to be his wife and our wedding would've been the happiest and proudest day of my life."
