Joy Sainsbury, aged 91, who has run Grimscott Post Office and Stores for 46 years, has no intention of shutting up shop today (Thursday) after the Post Office Ltd withdraws its service. Joy, who was made an MBE in the Queen's Birthday Honours List in 2002 in recognition of her services to the community, says she will continue operating the shop and offering cups of tea to local residents. She says of the decision: "I am mad about it, but what can you do? It will be difficult for some of our residents, especially as buses are so infrequent."
