IT CAN now be said that Port Isaac RNLI is a true family affair — with four members of the same family taking key roles in its management structure. Volunteer crew members and brothers, senior helmsman and training officer Damien and James Bolton, have been joined by their parents, Liz and Chris, after they recently took on the roles of deputy committee chairman and lifeboat operations manager respectively. The unique team brings both service and essential skills in to play in their positions, with a combined service representing more than 60 years relating to the RNLI and 15 years to the Coastguards.
