THIS week’s Post Series has plenty going on across the local towns and villages.
In Launceston, the future of the town’s M&Co shop is in doubt after the company goes into administration while on a brighter note, Launceston Choral Society’s traditional concert is well supported.
Over in Camelford, the town council hold their Christmas party and a Delabole couple switch on their festive lights. Inside are pictures and reports from both.
Up in Bude there’s news of a former school teacher being jailed for child sexual abuse and a picture in a bottle is nominated for an award.
Up the coast in Morwenstow, the parish council have given out special honorary awards.In Holsworthy we hear how a long-serving secretary is saying farewell after 30 years of service.
There’s also two pages of school news including a celebration at Holsworthy Community College and excellent Ofsted reports from Coad’s Green and Marhamchurch primary schools, and big awards for a St Joseph’s School teacher and Launceston College’s Year 12 students.
As ever there’s the latest community news including a Christmas presentation in Linkinhorne and funds are donated to Bude Memory Cafe from a whist drive holiday plus the latest Westminster column from North Cornwall MP, Scott Mann and former BBC Spotlight presenter Justin Leigh.
