HOLSWORTHY proved that it could rock on Saturday, October 19.

Holsworthy Memorial Hall played host to a live music event, featuring three live bands all helping raise money for the building — a charitable organisation.

The three bands, 'Rock 'N' Rollups' from Bradworthy, 'Iguana Sunset' from Holsworthy and 'Knuckle Down', all played free of charge.

Two hundred tickets were sold for the event and, with a raffle on the night helping bolster the income from the event, a total of £1,154 was raised for this valuable community venue.
