HOLSWORTHY Police are appealing for witnesses following two incidents that occurred in the town.

On Thursday (December 30) between 4.15pm and 7.45 am an attempt was made to gain entry to the North Devon Hospice Shop, The Square, Holsworthy, causing around £250 damage, but no entry was gained.

The second incident occurred between 5.15pm on December 24 and 5.15am on December 31 where an attempt was made to gain entry to the shop; Natural Touch, Victoria Square, Holsworthy.

Approximately £200 worth of damage was caused, but no entry gained. If anyone has any information regarding this incident please contact police on the number above, quoting log reference number CH /10/502.
