A group of young army cadets along with two adult instructors from the Holsworthy
detachment of Devon Army Cadet Force met The Queen and Duke of Edinburgh during a Royal visit beginning
regional celebrations of the 150th anniversary of the Army Cadet Force.
The visit took place on Thursday, March 11 at Wyvern barracks in Exeter. Under the guidance of qualified instructors Serjeant Philip Westley and his wife WPI Sue Westley, who run the North Tamar Fencing Club, the cadets put on a demonstration of the sport for the Royal couple who stopped to chat with the group.

Cadet Tammy Coomber was also present in her role as a member of the Devon Army Cadet Force Corps of Drums which is based in North Devon, also meeting both Royals.
