HOLSWORTHY Livestock Market was buzzing with people who attended the annual winter fair on Wednesday, November 30.

Local man Colin Harris went away with the champion title for non-halter-led and halter-led cattle, with his Limousin cross. Colin competes in shows across the country, but this was his first win at the fair.

Meanwhile, Graham and Kate Harding won overall champion in the sheep section.

The fair was held earlier compared to previous years, allowing butchers to have longer to hang the stock and to avoid clashing with other fairs.

Despite the change, it was deemed a success by the fair's secretary.
