THERE were celebrations to be had by Bude holiday destination Sandymouth Holiday Park when they received the top regional award from the domestic holiday giants Hoseasons.

The park was crowned ‘Best Family Fun’ destination in Cornwall at Hoseasons’ tenth annual gala awards evening.

The event showcased the best of the self-catering specialist’s lodge and holiday parks in the UK.

The awards were broken down into eight UK regions and presented to Hoseasons destinations that have achieved the highest scores in customer satisfaction surveys.

Commenting after the award was presented at the Hilton Metropole Hotel, in Brighton, Anthony Esse, speaking on behalf of the Darwin Leisure Property Fund, which owns Sandymouth Holiday Home Park, said: “We’re absolutely delighted to win this award. The team at Sandymouth works incredibly hard to ensure our guests have a great holiday experience, so it’s fantastic to know their hard work is appreciated.
